Church FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How large a group can you take out?

It depends on the boat. The fleet ranges from 20 guests up to 100 on the Miss Gloria, and two Blue Goose boats can be tied together for 100. Anniversaries, baptism celebrations, and church-wide days all fit.

Do our leaders have to plan and run the day?

No. A licensed captain and full crew handle boarding, timing, and safety. Your leaders finally get to be guests while someone else does the serving for once.

Are life jackets provided for kids and families?

Yes. Life jackets come in every size, and water toys for the kids are included, so families with all ages aboard are covered.

When can we book, and is there a discount?

Weekday afternoons run at the lowest rates and Saturdays fill fast. Mention this page when you book and get 15% off your first charter.

Is parking free at the marina?

Yes. Parking at Eagle Point Marina, 1 Eagle Point Rd in Lewisville, is free for your group.

Can we bring food or have it catered?

Yes. Bring your own spread or arrange catering. Coolers are welcome, and the crew helps you load and set up before you board.

Is this a good fit for youth groups and kids?

Yes. Life jackets come in every size and water toys are included. The captain and crew keep safety first, so youth leaders can relax and enjoy the day too.

How long is a typical charter?

Most charters run for a set block of hours you choose when booking. Longer blocks are available for church-wide days, so ask for options when you reserve your date.
